The Great Sage! Equal of Heaven!

Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was born from a rock, he took on all of Heaven and won - as punishment, he was imprisoned in a mountain for 500 years before Tripitaka the monk, freed Sun Wukong to help him on his pilgrimage to the West.

A gold fillet was fitted to Sun Wukong's head to keep him in line, all Tripitaka had to do was recite a mantra, it tightened the band, causing Sun Wukong immense pain!
