'Minamoto no Tametomo Mural'

PROJECT INFO

2017

Client: Canterbury/Bankstown Council
Medium: Acrylic Paint

I was commissioned by Canterbury/Bankstown Council to contribute a mural to their urban art project - 'to enhance their streetscape appearance as well as activate their street frontages in the suburb of Campsie and it's Town Centre by transforming blank and/or grafitti covered walls into an original urban street art piece'.

I'd chosen to translate the 'Minamoto No Tametomo' digital piece for this project as visually, it's got great visual appeal and I seriously just wanted to draw a big fish stretching down a long wall.
